Hi, I’m Emma, Founder of Settle Azores
My journey began in Scotland, followed by several years living in Switzerland, before I eventually moved to the Azores with my family. Experiencing relocation at a young age shaped my understanding of what it truly means to adapt to a new country, culture, and way of life.
During that time, I became aware of how challenging a move can feel without clear and reliable support. That experience stayed with me and later became the foundation for creating Settle Azores.
I studied Tourism and have been working as a professional guide in the Azores since 2011, supporting international clients from a wide range of backgrounds. Over the years, I have developed strong organisational skills, cultural sensitivity, and a service approach built on clarity, patience, and attention to detail.
I speak English, Portuguese, and German, which allows me to support clients comfortably across languages and cultures. My role is not only to guide you through practical processes, but to ensure your transition feels calm, structured, and fully supported from the beginning.
